APC Commends Court of Appeal for upholding judgement sacking PDP Candidate in Zamfara.

APC Zamfara Chapter has commend the Court of Appeal sitting in Sokoto for keeping to the rule of law over its ruling by dismissing an appeal that sacked the candidature of the PDP, Dauda Lawal Dare. The State Public Relations Officer of the party Yusuf Idris has stated in a press Released Thursday.

The Sokoto division of the Appelent court struck out the appeal Dauda Lawal Dare of the PDP and three others Wednesday for lack of merit with a cost of one hundred thousand Naira against the Appelants.

The Presiding judge Muhammad  Shuaibu while reading the judgement described the appeal as a mere academic exercise that cannot be entertain by the court. 

Justice Shu’aibu cited that the appellants have the constitutional rights of appeal, but the issue before the court is beyond constitutional right 

Justice Muhammad Shuaibu further stressed that the appellants has earlier comply with the decision of the Federal High Court in Gusau and participated in a fresh primaries which invalidate their right to appeal.

The APC said it is typical of the PDP for violating the rule of law since its formation, its members have continuously refused to agree that Nigeria has advanced and that the law is no respecter of anyone.

“We at the APC however, are happy that we always find amicable resolution to our internal wranglings without necessarily seeking judicial redress.” APC Said

The APC further said that it is the winning party and will continue to be the winning party in the state and the nation at large as it will continue to receive new entrants under peaceful atmosphere.
